Hello Evening Rotary Club Members!
This is a reminder that our club will NOT meet on Monday, April 22. So, our next meeting is Monday, April 29.
We had a great time at the Charter Night on Saturday night! We had a good turnout of our members, spouses, friends and dignitaries from Rotary across the state. I'm sorry that it didn't work out for all of you to attend this special occasion. We did miss you!
If you have a chance, please try to attend the social hour this Thursday, April 25 at Summit Lake Winery for the 5 visitors from Korea. It goes from about 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please try to stop by and say hello to our visitors.
Also, we need volunteers to show up for our project with the Jefferson City Day Care Center on this coming Saturday, April 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. At least 4 of you volunteered to help with their barbecue that day. One of you said that you could provide a grill for this purpose and another person said that he would bring the charcoal. If you have any questions about the details of this event, please contact Suzanne or Harry Richter at 893-5607. Remember, that the day care center also needs rummage for this occasion. Please email or call the Richters or me and let us know if you will be helping with the barbecue on April 27. We don't want to disappoint our friends at the Jefferson City Day Care Center.
