The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the awards for the club's youth essay contest. Two Jefferson City High School students were present (with their families), and read their winning essays to the club.
Harry Richter reported that the numbers were low but the enthusiasm was high at Saturday's Habitat for Humanity service project. The club's crew performed the final grounds work before the new owners moved in that afternoon!
After some routine business was covered, Sue Heisler gave a short presentation about her career in hospital community relations.
