Jefferson City Evening Rotary met on Monday, December 2nd. </P>

informational program was presented by Jerry Mathes and Don Carter of&nbsp;
<STRONG>Crossroads Community Recovery Center </STRONG>(CCRC).&nbsp; A local
peer-driven, not-for-profit&nbsp;organization manned primarily
by&nbsp;volunteers recovering from various addictive habits, CCRC provides
professional, educational, and community support services. Established in
2001,&nbsp;it is developing under the direction of Don and Angie Carter, who
recognized the need for an adult facility for recovering persons. To learn more,

<P>Evening Rotary President Vic Tomlinson reminded fellow Rotarians&nbsp;that
gifts for adopted Samaritan Center families are to be wrapped and labeled by
Monday, December 16th.&nbsp; He noted that new member has been presented for
consideration. </P>

<DIV>Rotarians from the five capital area Rotary clubs and their guests are
invited to the next meeting to hear state senator Larry Rohrbach and
senator-elect Carl Vogel present their views on the upcoming session of the
Missouri General Assembly.</DIV>
