- Meeting Summary, July 28, 2003 announcement
Our planned program did not happen, so we worked on club business instead.
A Rotary Friendship exchange is coming up with Thailand. The Thai Rotarians will be visiting our district in the near future - opportunities to host will be available. The group from our district will be going to Thailand this winter.
A number of Rotarians said they tried to donate at the blood drive, but were turned down.
The club will be selling fall flower bulbs this year.
The board is planning an outing club members and their families in September (probably the 6th or 13th.) Contact the Libeys if you have a preference.
Cathy Libey introduced her son Brian, a programmer at Central Bank, as a potential Rotarian. He helped with our last Habitat project.
Several members mentioned that this month's issue of the Rotarian magazine is especially good.
We signed up for committees. Because of our club's small size, we have combined the membership of the committees into two groups. Members will sign up for one group or the other, and serve on all committees in that group.
- **Group I:** Community Service and International Service
