  • Shoes for Orphan Souls project announcement

Evening Rotary is participating in Shoes for Orphan Souls. Jim Chilcutt is chair. We will be collecting new shoes until April 2005 when they will be delivered during
the District Conference.

Due to customs regulations, only donations of new shoes, socks, and shoelaces for children, ages 0- 18 will be accepted. All types of shoes are needed, but winter boots and warm shoes for teenagers sizes 3-9 are most urgently needed. We encourage people to include in the shoes a family picture and a note to the child who will receive the shoes.

They will also accepting "very gently used items". These shoes have been delivered to children in such countries as Afghanistan, Belize, Zambia and many others. Begin bringing your donations to the meetings.
